This is the ACE-specific consent and terms document for **contributing your device's
resources**. It is grounded in the ACE-Cloud codebase (resource governor states, Stripe
Connect Express payout flow, Wi-Fi-vs-cellular handling) and the design recordArmoredWebHosting/docs/design/ace-economics-consent-sla.md§2. Items marked
[CONFIRM] require Karl / counsel — especially worker classification, tax, warranty,
and payout terms.
Operator: Armored Gate, LLC Applies to: enrollment of your device as an ACE Micro Cloud contributor.
By enrolling a device, you (the "Contributor") agree to this Contributor Agreement, in addition to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You are allowing your Android device to run compute and/or bandwidth workloads for third parties (ACE Cloud customers), using spare device capacity. You consent specifically to the following, each of which is disclosed to you in-app before enrollment:
and controlled by the ACE Cloud platform. The workloads are signed and attested; only authorized workloads run, inside a sandbox with resource limits.
statistics about your own device** — never the identity, owner, domain, content, or purpose of any workload ("invisibility"). You are never in custody of others' data.
third-party workloads is the core function of the App.
You acknowledge that contributing uses real device resources:
governor enforces protective states — for example it steps down or suspends work on low battery and stops on critical battery, and it responds to thermal state. [CONFIRM exact published thresholds; the design record cites a battery floor unplugged, freeze at low battery, and suspend at critical.]
explicitly opt in** (see §3). Bandwidth workloads and cellular use can consume data against your plan.

You accept these impacts. See also the no-warranty terms in §7 and the Terms of Service.
mobile-data usage and you confirm that doing so does not violate your mobile carrier's terms of service (tethering/traffic policies vary by carrier and plan). You are responsible for any data charges or overage. [CONFIRM carrier-ToS acknowledgment wording with counsel.]
You may stop contributing at any time:
in-flight work off your device within a bounded window so nothing is orphaned.
consent** for that organization in-app (this stops sharing your device status/compliance signals with them).
deletion** (see account-data-deletion.md).
agent, partner, or joint venturer of Armored Gate. You control whether, when, and how your device participates.
payment, the correct legal characterization (independent contractor vs. other) and any jurisdiction-specific gig-work obligations must be confirmed by counsel before monetary payouts launch. The design record flags this as launch-gating for the cash-payout mode.
Two modes; which applies depends on how you enrolled:
onboarding (identity/KYC and bank details go directly to Stripe; Armored Gate stores only your Stripe account ID, email, country, and earnings/payout records).

You contribute your device at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Armored Gate makes no warranty that contribution will not cause battery wear, elevated data usage, thermal effects, reduced device lifespan, or other impacts, and disclaims liability for device damage, data overage, or lost use, as further set out in the Terms of Service (Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability). The governor is a protective measure, not a guarantee.
forms (for example a Form 1099-K**) tied to your taxpayer identification number, and you may be required to provide tax information to receive payouts. [CONFIRM — coordinate with the Stripe Connect tax-reporting configuration and Play Console merchant tax settings.]
You agree not to falsify or inflate contribution, use emulators/rooted-device tricks to game metering, run multiple accounts to farm rewards (Sybil), or attempt to identify or interfere with the workloads your device runs. Violations may forfeit unpaid amounts and end your participation (see Terms of Service §5).
We may update this Agreement (with notice for material changes), change or retire workload types and rates prospectively, and suspend or end participation for violations, fraud, legal reasons, or service discontinuation. Verified, non-fraudulent earnings at or above the payout minimum remain payable.
